Each year since 2012, Washington Hospital has been designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound (including 超声引导乳腺活检.

At Washington Hospital, nurse navigators meet with patients to help guide them and their family members through the breast cancer treatment journey. Whether answering some of the many initial questions, or offering resources for ride services, nurse navigators help patients feel less overwhelmed and more able to focus on the healing process.

Washington 女性中心 has been accredited by The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization that has been established to identify and recognize breast centers providing quality care in the United States. NAPBC-accredited centers demonstrate the following services:

• A multidisciplinary, team approach to coordinate the best care and treatment 可用选项

• Ongoing monitoring and improvement of care
